Quality home care and respite starts with matching our clients with a qualified home care aide who has completed our training program.
Our aides receive comprehensive training and undergo drug screening along with a criminal background check prior to hiring.
Each staff person goes through and extensive screening process. Each applicant is interview with verification of credential and references. Once hired , all staff are direct employees of Soaring Independent Cooperative; therefore Soaring Independent Coop is responsible for (i) Payroll; (ii) Payroll Taxes; (iii) Payroll Related Insurance; (iv) Workers Compensation Insurance and all other responsibilities of an employer. In addition all employees are bonded and insured.
All Soaring Independent Coop home care aides are supervised by a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse makes Supervisory home visits on a regular basis to ensure the care and safety of our clients and to verify home care aides are following the clients person centered plan of care.
